Alternative NameTemuka District High SchoolTemuka High SchoolDescriptionOriginally known as Temuka District High School, the school became Temuka High School in 1966. The original school was first opened in 1866 on the site now used by Temuka Primary. In 1969 Temuka High School moved to its current site and in 2005 changed its name to Opihi College, after the nearby Opihi River. Opihi College caters for years 7 to 13.

The Aoraki Collection holds physical copies of some yearbooks dating back to the 1960s. Please note that it appears the yearbook was not published 1976-1986, although a handwritten one was produced in 1978.
