DescriptionThe Church of the Holy Innocents is an Anglican church in South Canterbury, built on Mount Peel Station by the station's owner John Barton Arundel Acland in 1868-69. Famous New Zealand crime novelist Dame Ngaio Marsh is buried in the church cemetery.
